AEW
Signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2025, Thekla came in and took the women’s division by storm.
Immediately establishing herself as a threat to everyone in the company, Thekla has become a fixture on AEW television.
From there, Thekla joined forces with the Sisters of Sin to become the Triangle of Madness.
After nearly a year in the promotion, “The Toxic Spider” set her sights directly on the AEW Women’s World Championship.
On the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Thekla defeated Kris Statlander to win the title.
Over this run, “The Toxic Spider” has firmly solidified that she is one of the biggest female stars in AEW today.

How did Thekla break out in AEW?
After capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship, Thekla went from a sadistic “Toxic Spider” to a more foul-mouthed, tequila-drinking wild child.
With her promo style, Thekla has been known for being unpredictable on the microphone.
Ahead of Forbidden Door 2026, she brought her longstanding rivalry with STARDOM and their President Taro Okada to the forefront.
Bringing the promotional rivalry that many fans wanted in the build to Forbidden Door, “The Toxic Spider” has clearly stolen the spotlight on the road to the pay-per-view.
Then, Thekla defeated Starlight Kid to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship in one of the best received matches on the Forbidden Door 2026 card.
Following this win, “The Toxic Spider” found herself in opposition to a returning Willow Nightingale.
Through this feud, Thekla was able to show off her character against a more established babyface.
After losing the AEW Women’s World Championship to Willow at Redemption 2026, Thekla found herself off of the company’s programming and the biggest show of the year, All In London.
With over a month away from AEW TV, fans made it be known they wanted Thekla back in the fold.
Upon her return at All In London, Thekla targeted new AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Monè.
Against “The CEO,” it became clear that the fans wanted to cheer for “The Toxic Spider.”
From her wild child persona to outrageous comments, fans want to see the former AEW Women’s World Champion week after week.
With an AEW Women’s World Championship match in her future, there is no question that Thekla has become AEW’s biggest breakout star of 2026.
