There has reportedly been ‘massive praise’ backstage for a WWE star amid their ongoing major push on television.
After he was taken out of action from an attack by Jacob Fatu in their Street Fight on Raw, Royce Keys made his return to WWE television on Raw two weeks ago, and he didn’t come alone.
Keys returned as a heel alongside Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of OTM from NXT, with the trio taking out the Usos, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa.
The trio, now going by the name ‘946’, have been heavily featured on Raw since their debut, with them being part of this week’s closing segment where they set fire to Jacob Fatu’s car.
‘Massive Praise’ On Royce Keys Within WWE
Amid the ongoing spotlight on the group, there has been an update on how the company views the group, and Keys specifically, following their debut.
Per WRKD Wrestling, Royce Keys has been given massive praise behind the scenes for being able to instantly slot into a major main event role effortlessly.
Furthermore, they noted that plans are being formed to continue featuring the group, with some within the company believing they would be a perfect fit for War Games.
A New Member For 946?
If 946 were to be a part of War Games, then we would likely see more names be added to the group in order to fill out the ranks for what is typically a 5 vs. 5 affair.
The first War Games match WWE ran in NXT was a 3 vs. 3 vs. 3 match, which could obviously also be the case here, but it seems unlikely that the main roster would change to that style after four years.
While it was noted that plans for now would see Keys be the sole leader of 946, and it will remain just he, Nima and Price for now, there is a chance other names could join the group in the future.
There is an ongoing conspiracy theory among fans that Jacob Fatu is secretly working with Keys and the 946, which would definitely make for an impactful reveal to add spice into both the 946 group and also the ongoing chapter of the Bloodline storyline.
