8. Willow Nightingale

At AEW All In London 2026, Mercedes Monè defeated Willow Nightingale to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Following this loss, Nightingale should take some time away due to her broken hand suffered prior to the bout.

However, Willow is a fighter and someone who does not stay down for long.

Nightingale going right back after Mercedes and trying to reclaim her gold would further push this rivalry to the next level moving forward.

7. Maya World

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026, Mercedes Monè defeated Maya World to win the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Finals.

This bout has gotten a ton of praise from fans and peers alike, which helped World to move on and win the TBS Title after this loss.

However, Maya lost the title when Persephone defeated her with the help of Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. on the AEW All In London 2026 Buy In.

Now that she has lost the TBS Championship, fans could see Maya World trying to go after the top prize in the AEW women’s division and looking for another round against “The CEO.”

6. Megan Bayne

Similar to Willow Nightingale, Divine Dominion also dropped their titles at AEW All In London 2026.

After going undefeated as a duo, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross lost to The Brawling Birds for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships at the Wembley Stadium event.

Now that she has dropped the tag titles, it might be time for Bayne to stand on her own.

Having the ability, size and look to become a top champion, Bayne might be an insurmountable challenge that Mercedes Monè might not be able to beat in her first defense of the AEW Women’s World Championship.

5. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

On the AEW All In London 2026 Buy In, the wrestling world was shocked to see Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. make her return.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has been absent from the promotion for nearly two years now.

Now a double champion, Persephone might have earned herself another match with Monè where she could try to win the AEW Women’s World Championship to try to become a modern-day triple crown champion.

3. Kris Statlander

Back in 2024, Kris Statlander first crossed paths with Mercedes Monè when the two feuded over the TBS Championship.

Those two matches were among the best of the year and proved the undeniable chemistry between Monè and Statlander.

Following this showdown, Monè and Athena aligned together to become a tag team.

Despite their success as individuals, Monè and Athena were not able to find the same as a unit.
