Daniel Bryan (-200) vs. Big Cass (+137.5)
Nia Jax (-500) vs. Alexa Bliss (+350)
Carmella (Even) vs. Charlotte Flair (-120)
Kevin’s Thoughts: Only three matches open the action with 8 days to go until the event. It will be interesting to see what the odds do with a “short” week. Of the opening lines, I think I’m surprised most by Daniel Bryan being favored over Big Cass. Every Daniel Bryan match, win or lose, will be a victory for the fans. So why not put some massive heat on Big Cass here and have him dominate Bryan? I’m thinking Brock over Cena at SummerSlam sort of domination. I have my eyes on this one as an early upset pick. The Carmella and Charlotte odds being so close indicates to me that Charlotte may win because Carmella is DQ’d. Carmella has been winning triple threat championship matches on WWE Main Events and given how long she held her Money in the Bank briefcase, a title run lasting for a few defenses seems to be in the cards to me.
