WWE
While El Grande Americano and La Catalina’s big championship wins deservedly grabbed the headlines, WWE AAA TripleMania 34 weekend was also a big one for the Los Perros Del Mal faction.
Not only did the group capture the AAA World Trios Titles from Los Psycho Circus, but they also got back their beloved original entrance theme ‘Perros’ from Cartel de Santa.
While the group’s reboot is certainly capturing the imagination of AAA fans and those new to the promotion, they are still down a member after kicking Bronco Nima out of the group last month.
Here are three WWE main roster stars who could potentially join Los Perros Del Mal:
Big Cass
It has now been six weeks since Big Cass returned to WWE on the August 3 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Rather than return alongside his former WWE tag team partner Enzo Amore however, Cass is going solo this time around, and he’s certainly in peak physical form and towers over the majority of the Raw roster.
The jury is certainly out as to whether WWE will properly push Cass on his own, as thus far it feels as if he’s filling a spot on the roster rather than making a legitimate impact.
With Los Perros Del Mal missing their big ‘heater’ with Bronco Nima gone, Cass could certainly fill that role and AAA may very well be a better place for him than WWE Raw at this point in time.
Josh Briggs
While Big Cass may very well achieve success on his own, NXT’s Josh Briggs is someone who feels especially in need of a lifeline in WWE.
The 33-year-old has been off TV since April, and there has been no word on when he could be making his return to NXT or anywhere else.
Having now been in NXT for five years, Briggs is certainly in need of a change but AAA may be a better fit for him than a move to Raw or SmackDown.
While he may not aesthetically be the perfect fit for Los Perros Del Mal, he’s a talented in-ring performer and deserves to be used in some capacity in WWE.
Damian Priest
Perhaps the most interesting option for Los Perros Del Mal would be the newly heel Damian Priest.
The former World Heavyweight Champion turned his back on tag team partner R-Truth on the September 11 WWE SmackDown, bringing an end to his two years as a babyface.
Priest wasn’t bad as a babyface by any means, but his ceiling feels higher as a heel and it is that role that he reached the top of WWE as World Heavyweight Champion back in 2024.
His peak run in the company also came when he was associated with a faction to play off of; while rejoining Judgment Day could be an option, joining Los Perros Del Mal would be something brand new and exciting for his character,
