WWE star to rejoin old faction: Which groups could grow stronger by looking to their past?

From The Bloodline and 946, to Fatal Influence, BirthRight and Los Perros Del Mal, there is no shortage of prominent factions throughout WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT and AAA.

While some stars move on from their groups and gain greater success, others fail to reach the same heights on their own. The same can be said about factions themselves, sometimes one departure can completely cripple them in the long-term, even if it seemed like a beneficial move at the time.

With all that said, here are three WWE stars who could potentially rejoin their old faction soon.

Damian Priest – Judgment Day

When Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley were removed from The Judgment Day in one night back at SummerSlam 2024, it seemed like a positive move for all involved.

Priest and especially Ripley were more than ready to break out on their own as top babyface stars, while Judgment Day were set for a new iteration of their own with Liv Morgan joining the group.

While Ripley hasn’t looked back, Priest has failed to recapture his past success. It hasn’t been a total disaster by any means, but as a babyface, Priest has felt less interesting and without other stars to bounce off of, he hasn’t been as entertaining away from the ring either.

His tag run with R-Truth was a high point, but now that he is back as a heel once again, perhaps a move back to Raw and rejoining The Judgment day may be what’s best for him, and crucially Judgment Day.

Judgment Day has lacked a true physical presence on the male side since Priest’s exit, which has eventually led Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh to be consistently treated like jokes.

Priest returning to the group would be a ‘rising tides lift all boats’ situation; it would provide some interesting character moments as Priest adapts to life back in The Judgment Day clubhouse, as well as re-establish the group as one to be feared rather than laughed at on Monday Night Raw.

Solo Sikoa – The Bloodline

Unlike Damian Priest rejoining Judgment Day, there are certainly plenty of counterarguments for Solo Sikoa returning to The Bloodline.

Sikoa is enjoying a very natural babyface run right now, and fans are lapping up everything that ‘Solo Dolo’ is putting down; to potentially derail this momentum by having him rejoin The Bloodline would probably be foolish.

However, if Sikoa can retain his current character, rather than fall in the line as ‘The Enforcer’ Solo Sikoa, it could certainly work.

Sikoa’s very unserious nature, bouncing off of the very serious Jacob Fatu, Usos and Roman Reigns would provide a lot of laughs, but there’s also enough Samoan firepower in that group to strike fear in anyone else on the WWE roster.

With LA Knight challenging Roman Reigns at WWE Money in the Bank, perhaps Solo could do the unthinkable and turn on his new found friend, in favor of returning to ‘home’ to his family.
