WWE stars to turn babyface at Money in the Bank 2026: Two stars to potentially change allegiances on October 10

Much later in the year than past instalments, the 17th annual WWE Money in the Bank premium live event is heading to New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 10

While fans have had to wait longer for this year’s show, the card for Money in the Bank is shaping up to be promising – with a major main event in the form of Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight and both the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches.

While this is what’s being advertised ahead of time, some of the most memorable moments from a PLE is the surprises that occur during the show itself, such as babyface and heel turns.

Here are two potential babyface turns we could see take place at WWE Money in the Bank 2026:

Paul Heyman

One of the most intriguing stories in WWE in recent months has been Paul Heyman’s frayed relationship with The Vision.

Since getting enveloped in Brock Lesnar’s feud with Oba Femi throughout the Spring and Summer, Heyman has had little to no time for his clients; particularly Bron Breakker.

Once dubbed ‘The Future of WrestleMania’ by Heyman, Breakker managed to dispatch Oba Femi at Sunday Night’s Main Event, but only due to a major assist from the returning Bronson Reed; even then, Breakker did not defeat ‘The Ruler.’

Heyman seemed less than pleased with how the match went down when he and Breakker last came face-to-face, and although Breakker has since also earned a spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, it seems like even a win there may not be enough to win over ‘The Oracle.’

Bringing an end to the questions surrounding Heyman’s status in The Vision, Money in the Bank could see the Hall of Famer turn his back on Breakker for good by costing him the briefcase or aiding Oba Femi in his mission to stop Breakker winning it.

Jacob Fatu

Another big question on the minds of WWE fans lately is related to Jacob Fatu, and the possibility that he could be secretly working with Royce Keys and the 946.

Admittedly this is something fuelled by pure speculation rather than evidence, as when looking just at what’s happened on WWE TV, there has not been any indication that Jacob is involved, aside from conveniently missing both of the 946’s attacks on his cousins The Usos.

While this could be looked at as potential evidence against ‘The Samoan Werewolf’, it’s worth remembering that he himself was the one who brutally attacked Royce Keys on the August 3 episode of Raw; sending him on the violent rampage that he and OTM are on right now.

Despite Keys being a babyface when he suffered this attack, he and the rest of 946 are now playing heels. Whereas Fatu, like there rest of The Bloodline, have teetered between babyface and heel all year. Reigns and The Usos seem to be clear bad guys despite getting positive reactions from the crowd, which should technically also put Fatu in the heel camp, despite him often not feeling like one.

Fatu turning on Reigns at Money in the Bank in order to join 946 would therefore be a confusing moment. Would it be a heel turn? A babyface turn? Or neither? Whatever the case, if Fatu ensures LA Knight walks out World Heavyweight Champion instead of ‘The OTC’ he would certainly be seen as a hero in the eyes of the fans.
