WWE Stars To Join New CM Punk Faction

On the July 6 edition of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk made his return to WWE for the first time since the Raw After WrestleMania 42 to defeat Sami Zayn to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Now that he is back in the fold, Punk could assemble a new stable to help protect his spot at the top of Friday Night SmackDown now.

Whether it be close friends or young stars on the roster, Punk forming his own group might make for some intriguing storytelling moving forward.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join a new CM Punk faction.

7. Bayley

Since making his return to WWE in 2023, CM Punk has displayed his close friendship with several members of the roster.

One of his and AJ Lee’s closest friends in WWE today has to be Bayley, which has been seen on social media and in different documentaries.

The multi-time WWE Women’s Champion was recently abandoned and turned on by her former friend Lyra Valkyria and might be in need of some of her real friends right now.

Punk recruiting Bayley would make sense and bring a strong veteran presence to his potential faction that can help the group’s younger talent.

6. Je’Von Evans

Speaking of young talent, Je’Von Evans has taken WWE by storm since signing with the promotion in 2023.

‘The Young OG’ took his momentum from NXT and made the move to Monday Night Raw at the start of 2026.

While he has garnered some attention for his stunning in-ring exploits, Evans has been unable to find a ton of singles success on the red brand.

As someone he has stated is a mentor of his, Evans could look to Punk for guidance while ‘The Best In The World’ may bring him into the fold for this new stable that would set them up for the future in a massive way.

5. Royce Keys

At the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event, Royce Keys made his debut with the company in the men’s Royal Rumble match.

The former Powerhouse Hobbs has become a heavily featured star on Friday Night SmackDown in recent months.

During their time in AEW together, Keys and CM Punk formed a friendship outside of the squared circle.

Punk bringing Keys under his learning tree would give this new potential faction an enforcer that would put fear in anyone that gets in their way moving forward.

4. Ricky Saints

Speaking of those who came across CM Punk in All Elite Wrestling, Ricky Saints is another star who has made his presence felt on the WWE main roster.

Signing with WWE in 2025, it took Saints less than a year before he captured the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship.

Now that he has made the move to SmackDown, Saints could find himself on the same show as Punk once more.

Saints joining forces with Punk instead of feuding with him seems like a logical move and can see the two men acknowledge their real life friendship through this faction.

3. Roxanne Perez

Since making her pro wrestling debut, Roxanne Perez has made it no secret that CM Punk was a major inspiration in her career.

‘The Prodigy’ now finds herself on the WWE main roster as a member of The Judgment Day stable.

After displaying some doubts in the family dynamic of her faction, Punk could provide a different outlet for Perez to find salvation outside of The Judgment Day.

Punk inviting his protege Perez into this potential stable would be a huge move that helps to further establish this group for years to come.

2. Danhausen

It is no secret that CM Punk and Danhausen are close personal friends outside of the ring.

Forming a bond from their time in All Elite Wrestling together, Punk and Danhausen have been nothing but kind to one another in their interactions with one another and when they talk about each other in interviews.

There were also rumors that Punk was supportive in pushing for Danhausen to be signed by WWE in 2026.

Now that he is part of the WWE roster, Danhausen feels like a no-brainer addition for Punk to bring into this faction sooner rather than later.

1. AJ Lee

There is no one on the WWE roster that makes more sense to join a new CM Punk faction quite like AJ Lee.

Since making her WWE return in September 2025, Lee has been front and center as one of the biggest female stars on the roster.

Despite seemingly saying goodbye after losing the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42, Lee could make her return and reunite with her husband on-screen yet again.

If Punk is making his own stable, there is no better choice to add to this unit than his wife and former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee to solidify the group’s identity.
