AEW star Santana has been out of action for over a year with an injury.

Santana tore his ACL during last year’s Blood & Guts match, which saw he, Ortiz, Eddie Kingston, Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta defeat the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Recently, Santana has been sharing teasers on social media, seemingly leading up to his return from injury.

Today, Santana took to Twitter once again to share the third part of his teaser, titled ‘The RICANstruction’.

Prior to Santana’s injury, there had been comments from former manager Konnan that claimed Santana and tag team partner Ortiz had a falling out, with them not taking part in a standard two on two tag team match for six months prior to his injury.

Konnan also recently told the story of Santana being ‘pissed off’ with AEW creative.
