VIDEO: AEW Star Teases In-Ring Return After Almost A Year Away

AEW star Santana has now shared a video teasing his return to the ring following almost a year out of action.

Santana hasn’t wrestled since suffering a knee injury during the Blood & Guts match which took place on the June 29, 2022 edition of Dynamite.

Following a recent report that Santana will be returning from injury soon, the star took to Twitter to ominously post:

As teased, Santana shared a new video to social media on Friday (June 9). In the video, we follow Santana through city streets.

When he finally comes to a stop, we see him nod and drop his wrestling shoes, indicating that he is now training to make his return.

This was notably part 2 of his #TheRICANstruction video series, with his first video dropping in April.

Prior to the injury, Santana had been publicly counting down to what many believed to be the expiration of his AEW contract.

As of writing, Santana is listed as an AEW star on the promotion’s official roster page.
