AEW Tag Team Championship Match Set For Next Week’s Dynamite February 8 AEW

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a quick match for the AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed after which they were met with a challenge.

In what turned out to be a rather emotional segment, the Gunns came to the ring to interrupt the Acclaimed’s post-match celebration.

While they were there to try and gain a title shot, the Acclaimed did not seem particularly willing.

However when Billy Gunn became exasperated by it all and left the ring. he was brought back after the promo took a dark turn with Colten referencing his Dad’s past addiction issues.

This drew the ire of Daddy Ass who returned to the ring to accept the challenge on behalf of the Acclaimed.

Also on tonight’s show, Jon Moxley made a sweet entrance before engaging in a decidedly violent and vicious battle with Hangman Adam Page.

In backstage segments, one AEW star confirmed that they’re officially done with tag teams while during another a challenge to a current champ was interrupted by footage of a backstage assault in progress!

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite (February 1) Darby Allin is set to put his TNT Championship on the line against Samoa Joe in a No Disqualification match.
