Adam Copeland has long had a history with former AEW World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, with Cash being one of the names who helped train him for his in-ring return back in 2020.
With Copeland now in AEW alongside FTR, fans have speculated that an alliance could be formed between the three men, and that may eventually be the case.
Adam Copeland (through Wet Yeti Inc.), Cash Wheeler, and Dax Harwood all applied to trademark the term “Rated FTR” on Wednesday, October 18.
The following description accompanied the trademark filing:
Mark For: RATED FTR trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.
Copeland and FTR have already come together on AEW television, working together to fight off security on last week’s AEW Collision show.
This isn’t the only group name that FTR have filed for recently, with them also trademarking for the name ‘CMFTR’ earlier this month.
Copeland is set to give a ‘Rated R Rebuttal’ on tonight’s (October 18) episode of Dynamite.
