A top free agent has named an AEW star as a sought after dream opponent in a recent impromptu Q&A on social media.
After making a return to IMPACT Wrestling for last night’s pay-per-view Bound for Glory (October 21), Matt Cardona popped on Twitter for a quick question and answer session.
When asked by a fan if he had a dream match from any promotion from any era, Cardona had an intriguing answer.
Matt Cardona responded simply: “Adam Copeland”.
Last night’s ‘Call Your Shot’ Gauntlet match featured numerous surprise appearances, including former WCW star Juventud Guerrera, former AEW star Sonny Kiss and former WWE star Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder).
Cardona made it to the final four in the match, which was ultimately won by Jordynne Grace defeating Bully Ray, but Cardona’s appearance had led to speculation about his future with the company.
