Huge Discussed AEW Match Scrapped From All In At London Wembley Stadium AEW

There were pitched ideas for AEW All In that had to be outright scrapped due to injuries according a new report.

Per Fightful Select, as the AEW All In card continues to be revealed, there were pitched ideas that completely had to be .

After Bryan Danielson broke his arm at Forbidden Door, those backstage had held out some initial hope that he may be able to return in time for the Wembley event.

However when his break was discovered to need more recovery time given the nature of the injury, one big idea for him was completely scrapped.

The report details that there was a pitch “at least considered” for Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson to take place at AEW All In, although it wasn’t necessarily “planned”.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter today that the “rumored” Omega match for All In is Omega, Adam Page and Kota Ibushi teaming up against Jay White, Juice Robinson & Konosuke Takeshita, with then Omega vs Takeshita in a singles match potentially being saved for All Out a week later.

Also scrapped, any plans involving PAC who is also unavailable for the event due to a recent injury.

AEW had also been hopeful that former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter would be healthy in time for AEW All In however unfortunately that looks to not be the case.

According to the report, AEW found out last month that she would be unable to compete at AEW All In and likely the rest of the year.
