New members of the faction being led by Jon Moxley were revealed at AEW All Out 2024 in a shocking post-match moment.
In the final ‘sanctioned’ match of the show, Bryan Danielson was narrowly able to escape with his AEW World Championship after a match with Jack Perry.
However, after the match, Killswitch snuck up on Danielson to take him out in the ring.
Next, the rest of the Patriarchy would head to the ring, with Christian Cage looking poised to use his guaranteed AEW World Title match contract.
However, before Christian could get to the ring, he was cut off by Jon Moxley, and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club – Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and their trios championship partner, Pac.
Jon Moxley would go on to give Danielson “a brotherly embrace” as described by Jim Ross, as the BCC celebrated in the ring together as a unit… until Castagnoli struck Danielson down.
With the AEW World Champion looking up at him in shock, Pac would hold back Wheeler Yuta from helping as Jon Moxley put a plastic bag over Danielson’s head.
After the attack, eventually Moxley would let Danielson free as medical staff worked to attend to him, quite literally carrying him to the back with haste.
Marina Shafir would also appear in the ring as the new members of Moxley’s faction seem to now officially include the duo of Claudio Castagnoli and Pac, along with Moxley himself and Shafir.
Wheeler Yuta stayed in the ring and tried to support Danielson.
