AEW Star Comments On WWE Spouse Attending Show

AEW star Andrade el Idolo has posted a sweet snap of himself and wife and WWE star Charlotte Flair at his recent CMLL match.

While word had already spread that Charlotte Flair had been in attendance for Andrade el Idolo’s CMLL show on December 22 with even a fan video of her making her way to her seat, crutches in hand had floated around online, now Andrade has posted about the night.

Calling it ‘date night’, Andrade wrote shared the sweet snap and thanked Mexico for the show.

While Flair won’t be competing for some time, the former WWE women’s champion was spotted at Friday’s (December 22) CMLL show to watch her husband Andrade El Idolo compete.

At the show, Andrade teamed with Espanto Jr and Brillante Jr to face off against Volador Jr, Magnus, and Magia Blanca.

Flair appeared to suffer an injury in her match against Asuka on the December 8 edition of SmackDown, WWE confirmed that Flair is expected to be out of action for nine months.

Later reports revealed that Flair has suffered tears to her ACL, MCL and meniscus, and will soon undergo surgery.

While Andrade el Idolo is in action elsewhere this holiday weekend, it is not likely we will see Charlotte Flair popping up on AEW Collision.
