AEW Announces Another Title Match For Next Week’s Dynamite

AEW has taken to social media to announce another championship match for the October 7 edition of Dynamite on TNT next week.

The new match will see FTR defend the promotion’s World Tag Team Championship against the Hybrid2.

This will be the second edition of the ‘Brush With Greatness’ series. The stipulation is that FTR will defend their title in 20-minute TV matches against opponents of their own choosing, and if it goes to a 20-minute draw then it counts as a win for FTR and a loss for the challengers. They beat Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky of SCU in the first edition last night.

That’s not the only title match set for next week, as Brodie Lee will be defending the TNT Title against Cody in a dog collar match, as well as Brian Cage defending the FTW Title against Will Hobbs.

Also announced for next week is the Chris Jericho 30th anniversary celebration, and he’ll be in action teaming with Jake Hager against Chaos Project in a tag match.
