AEW has announced that the January 15 Dynamite in Miami will be titled Bash at the Beach.
Bash at the Beach was an annual WCW show that ran from 1994 to 2000. The term was owned by WWE but Cody filed to trademark it earlier this year.
When he filed for Bash at the Beach, Cody also filed for Bunkhouse Stampede and Battlebowl, so it’ll be interesting to see if they too come into play at some point in the future.
The show will act as the kick off for Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea, which will also see another episode of Dynamite filmed on the Norwegian Pearl Ship, which will air on January 22.
The WCW Bash at the Beach was held in Florida five times, but never in Miami.
Tickets go on sale on November 22 at noon ET and will be available at this link.
