A controversial former WWE star reunited with AEW’s Bryan Danielson at a recent event and they couldn’t look happier.
The former Enzo Amore was suspended and then released by WWE in January 2018 and would appear on the independent scene as nZo and pursue a music career as Real1, the name he now wrestlers under.
With a busy independent wrestling calendar, Real1 has faced the likes of Matt Hardy, Rob Van Dam, Juventud Guerrera, 2 Cold Scorpio and Flip Gordon in 2023 alone.
Recently, he was spotted at an event with AEW’s Bryan Danielson, with the moment being captured on social media with a familiar Daniel Bryan-era catchphrase.
Real1 shared the photo to Twitter with the caption “YES!!”
A number of replies to the post asked when Real1 was going to be joining AEW.
His former WWE tag team partner, Big Cass, is currently Bill Bill and a member of AEW’s The Firm.
The former Enzo Amore has claimed he could “brutalize” AEW’s MJF on the mic and discussed how he believes he could have saved ROH.
Real1 has previously ended his “beef” with Joey Janela, with the former AEW star sharing a handshake photo on social media.
Having signed with WWE in 2012, he is a former two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
