AEW Star Burned By Pyro During Entrance AEW

Chris Jericho was injured before the Like A Dragon Gaiden Street Fight by the pyro on the November 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The match pitted the Don Callis Family against the combined forces of the Golden Lovers and Jeri-Show in a collaboration with SEGA for the Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name video game.

Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Chris Jericho and Paul Wight would be victorious over Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs in a wild match with highlights below this news story.

In the wake of the match, Kota Ibushi would be confirmed as being signed to AEW by Tony Khan.

Kyle Fletcher would also share a photo on Twitter of a forehead injury that caused him to bleed.

Fletcher wasn’t the only one to suffer an injury however, as Chris Jericho revealed what happened to him before the bell had even rung!

In response to a fan asking if one of Kenny Omega’s fireworks had burned his arm, Jericho would reply with a simple and to the point:

“YES! 🤠”

The match would mark the first time Jeri-Show have reunited since January 28, 2016, on WWE SmackDown.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name was released on November 9 for PlayStation, Xbox and Windows.

It continues the long-running franchise that some gaming fans may have known as Yakuza.
