AEW star Wardlow has revealed that he was recently in a car crash, sharing an update after the traffic accident.
Wardlow took to Twitter to share a photo of a crashed car, noting that he’s banged up following the crash.
Thanking those who have reached out to him, Wardlow wrote:
The devils been doing everything to stop me lately… still hasn’t learned he can’t. Banged up but I’m alive 🙏🏽 thank you to those that have reached out. Appreciate you all
Wardlow made an appearance at Sunday’s April 21 AEW Dynasty pay-per-view after the incident, attempting to interfere in the International Championship match between Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly.
While Wardlow was caught by the referee before he could affect the match, his Undisputed Kingdom teammate Roderick Strong was ultimately victorious.
Seeds of dissension within the group were sown following the bout, with Adam Cole glaring at Wardlow during the post-match celebrations.
Wardlow last wrestled at the March 13 AEW Dynamite Big Business show, unsuccessfully challenging for Samoa Joe’s AEW World Championship.
At AEW Dynasty, Swerve Strickland defeated Samoa Joe to become the new AEW World Champion.
We wish Wardlow a safe and healthy recovery.
