AEW Trios Champion Brody King has now issued a challenge to FTR for the AEW Tag Team Champion following the August 12 edition of Collision.
On the show, CM Punk, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler faced off against Brody King, Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black with the AEW Trios Titles on the line.
The House Of Black ultimately defeated CMFTR, with Brody King pinning Dax Harwood after dropping him with a lariat.
King has now taken to Twitter to call the AEW Tag Team Champions out.
Wanting a shot at FTR’s gold, King tweeted:
I pinned the @AEW tag team champion. Give me your belt. #AEWCollision
It can be argued that Samoa Joe assisted the House of Black in their trios victory, with the ROH TV Champion choking CM Punk out at ringside, distracting Dax Harwood before he was dropped by King’s lariat.
Samoa Joe previously issued a challenge to CM Punk for a match at All In.
FTR are slated to defend their AEW Tag Team Championship at All In, with Harwood and Wheeler set to battle Matt and Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks for the third time.
CM Punk fired shots at Hangman Page after AEW Collision went off the air, which you can read more about right here.
