AEW Star Seemingly Quits Faction On AEW Collision AEW

An AEW star seems to have quit a faction on tonight’s AEW Collision as heel shenanigans caught up with one Owen Hart Cup semi-finalist.

In the first match of the night, Ricky Starks faced off against Powerhouse Hobbs in the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Hobbs paid tribute to Owen Hart with his ring attire, featuring the signature black and hot pink motif.

After QT Marshall attempted to trip Ricky Starks and his hijinks were noticed by referee Aubrey Edwards, he began going back and forth with the ref.

Unfortunately for Hobbs, this negated the ferocious spinebuster Hobbs had hit on Starks and subsequent pin attempt because the ref was distracted.

With Marshall still on the apron, Hobbs attempted to tell him to back off and get down however when he didn’t, he was instead knocked down inadvertently.

However because of the distraction at ringside, Ricky Starks was able to capitalize, hit a big spear and capture the pinfall victory to advance to the finals in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

After the match and a contemptuous exchange with Marshall, Hobbs forcefully threw Marshall down before adding Aaron Solo to the pile of downed QTV members.

But when Harley Cameron got between Marshall and Hobbs, Hobbs left the ring and up the ramp in frustration as dissension continues within QTV.
