AEW Star’s Contract To Expire At The End Of August

AEW Star’s Contract To Expire At The End Of August AEW

Arn Anderson has provided an update on his son Brock Anderson’s AEW contract, following speculation about the rising star’s future.

In December 2022, Arn Anderson stated that Brock Anderson had ‘about six months’ left on his AEW deal.

Eight months later Arn has confirmed that Brock is still under contract, but revealed that this might not be the case for much longer.

During an ‘Ask Me Anything’ edition of his ARN podcast, Arn Anderson stated that Brock Anderson’s AEW contract is set to expire at the end of August.

Arn said:

“Not yet, it’s up at the end of the month.

“The end of August, so we will see, I hope so you know, I hope — he’s one of those guys, you know, guys like him and Taz’s kid, a lot of young talent that has a lot to offer, just haven’t had a chance yet.

“I hope things work out and we’re able to stay.”

Brock Anderson signed a developmental contract with AEW in 2021.

The young talent was presented as a rising star right from his AEW debut, which saw him team with Cody Rhodes to face Aaron Solow & Q. T. Marshall on the June 6, 2021 episode of Dynamite.

Brock most recently wrestled on the August 12 Collision episode, unsuccessfully challenging for Luchasaurus’ TNT Championship.

Anderson’s former tag partner Brian Pillman Jr notably left AEW in July after his contract with the promotion expired.
