AEW’s Dustin Rhodes Addresses Potential Match Against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes AEW

AEW star and current ROH World Tag Team Champion Dustin Rhodes has addressed a potential match against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

To the surprise of some fans, Dustin Rhodes recently re-signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling following the expiration of his contract. Prior to his re-signing, many fans and critics believed Dustin would return to WWE to reunite with his brother and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

On January 30, Dustin Rhodes took to social media to address a potential match against his younger brother Cody. He wrote:

I get asked daily about how I feel about Cody’s success. I love it and I am super proud. Proud of him, proud of my dad, proud of our family. We all 3 have different styles that stand us out and Cody has definitely surpassed every expectation of him. We are all different in many ways and each of us have left its mark on the world of pro wrestling and entertainment and that #RhodesTrain ain’t stopping. #RhodesFam

When a fan mentioned the story not being over until Dustin faces Cody for the WWE Championship, Dustin replied:

No. I will never fight him again. I wouldn’t dare touch something so magical

Dustin famously faced Cody Rhodes at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019.

Cody was recently attacked by a SmackDown star following the January 27 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, which you can read here.
