AEW
A currently injured AEW star has shared an update on their return to in-ring action, confirming they’ll be sidelined for a few months yet.
Dustin Rhodes recently underwent double knee replacement surgery, with his last in-ring appearance being at the end of July.
Recently, Rhodes confirmed that his rehab from surgery is going well, with the former TNT Champion remaining positive about an in-ring return.
While he didn’t share a potential date for that return at the time, Rhodes has now provided an indication as to when fans can expect to see him back in AEW.
In a recent post on Twitter, Rhodes answered a fan question enquiring about his knees, with the AEW star hinting at a March 2026 return, responding:
“They still hurt a bit, especially in the mornings. I do have a good ways to go. Remember, I am 56 and pushing hard; just takes time. Not young anymore.
“Prob March I should be ready to kill everyone lol. Maybe, I am pushing hard, my man.”
At the time of his injury, Rhodes held the ROH World Tag Team and World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
With Sammy Guevara having joined Rush as a member of La Faccion Ingobernable, The Spanish God continues as ROH World Tag Team Champion.
The Sons of Texas (Rhodes, Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich) vacated the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship in August, with Shane Taylor Promotions becoming new champions later that month.
WrestleTalk wishes Dustin Rhodes well in his ongoing rehabilitation from surgery.
