Dustin Rhodes Sends Message To AEW Star Following Injury In Match

The October 2 recording for ROH saw Sammy Guevara sustain an injury towards the end of his match against Serpentico.

The injury was one of two incidents to take place during the tapings with Kelly Madan picking up a reported concussion during her match against Lady Frost.

Guevara also suffered what was reported as a concussion with it also being noted he was “walking around backstage” having left the ring on a stretcher.

His ROH World Tag Team Champion teammate, Dustin Rhodes has now sent a message of support to Guevara, tweeting:

“Hey@sammyguevara,

“I love you buddy.”

The tweet, which can be seen below this news story, including photos of the pair together backstage and in the ring at ROH.

Rhodes has recently stated that AEW is “good for [his] soul” after five years on his “one last ride.”

His tag team partner has also revealed he wants to be the “best version” of himself following his recent return to the ring.

Guevara returned to the ring in August 2024 appearing during the Ring of Honor tapings having last appeared on the February 24 episode of AEW Dynamite.
