AEW star Bryan Danielson returned to Dynamite tonight, sporting a brand new look upon his return: an eyepatch after an injury.
After sustaining a broken orbital bone and having surgery on the area, Bryan Danielson returned on AEW Dynamite on commentary.
Making his big entrance in front of the excited crowd, he was notably wearing a black eyepatch along with his signature white t-shirt, jeans and black Blackpool Combat Club jacket.
Danielson was on commentary for the first two matches of the night, both a part of the Gold league of the AEW Continental Classic.
First up, Jay Lethal was bested by Jon Moxley who picked up another three points in the tournament, bringing his total to six.
Next up was Mark Briscoe taking on Rush also in the tournament with Rush taking the victory and registering three points.
In the main event, Swerve Strickland picked up a win over Jay White to take Swerve’s total to six points while White’s remains at three.
Bryan Danielson was the first competitor announced for the tournament, making his debut this coming Saturday on Collision.
Bryan Danielson is set for a match on this Saturday’s Collision against Eddie Kingston in the Blue League.
