According to a report from Fightful Select, there has been heavy internal discussion regarding one former champ winning back his title tonight.

Per the report, Wardlow may be winning back the TNT Championship from Samoa Joe in the show’s main event.

Also a potential indicator of an impending title change, fans in attendance have reported stray confetting falling at the arena.

While this has been noted as having happened in the past without a title change, we will have to stay tuned to the main event to find out!

Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, the show kicked off with an awesome match between ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page and Bryan Danielson which dominated the first quarter hour with hard hitting action.
