New Number One Contenders For AEW Tag Team Championship

A big number one contenders match occurred on AEW Dynamite to determine who would get the next crack at The Acclaimed.

While the champions Anthony Bowens and Max Caster watching from the ramp alongside the beloved Daddy Ass, a major match ensued.

FTR took on Swerve in Our Glory who determine who would next face the Acclaimed for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

After an exciting match between the two massive teams, after a bit of a heelish finish with a sprinkling of shenanigans leading to the win, Swerve in our Glory captured the win.

After the bell, order devolved in complete chaos with The Gunns attacking FTR and then The Acclaimed running down to make the save as Swerve in our Glory exited up the ramp!

FTR continues to hold numerous tag team titles including the ROH and IWGP titles, the latter of which they will be defending soon against a mystery team. You can read more about that here.
