New Champion Crowned At AEW Full Gear

New Champion Crowned At AEW Full Gear AEW

There is a new Champion in town in All Elite Wrestling after tonight’s AEW pay-per-view, Full Gear (November 19).

After a vicious three way and beefy battle between Powerhouse Hobbs, Samoa Joe and defending champion Wardlow, saw an amazing effort.

While Wardlow was working on a Powerbomb Symphony on Powerhouse Hobbs much to the delight of the excited Newark crowd, he was blindsided.

Apparently neglecting to keep an eye on the savage Samoa Joe, he struck with his ROH title, knocking out Wardlow and leaving an already prone Powerhouse Hobbs vulnerable.

Joe slid in and put an already nearing unconscious Hobbs in a submission hold and the match was his to win.

Samoa Joe leaves AEW Full Gear as both the Ring of Honor TV Champion and the AEW TNT Champion.

Also occurring on AEW Full Gear, the Elite returned debuting a new theme song and received a thunderous response from the crowd including a special related CM Punk chant.

Elsewhere on the pay-per-view, a star made their ring entrance in homage to a wrestling legend and the show kicked off with a brutal and bloody steel cage match.

And the in-ring return of Saraya after she took on Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. in a big match.
