AEW star Lance Archer has provided an update on his contract status, revealing that he’s expecting to have contract negotiations soon.
Archer was in action at Sunday’s (March 3) AEW Revolution All Star Scramble match, which was ultimately won by Wardlow.
In an interview with WrestlePurists which took place ahead of Revolution, Archer noted that everything’s good with his AEW status right now.
Noting that he could be having some contract talks ‘pretty soon’, Archer said:
“I mean, there could be some renegotiations pretty soon (for my AEW deal) but, everything’s good right now.”
Archer signed with AEW in February 2020, ahead of his debut match for the promotion that March.
He went on to win the men’s Casino Battle Royal at All Out 2020. Archer has wrestled for NJPW on numerous occasions while under contract with AEW, notably holding the IWGP US Championship in 2021, and competing in the 2022 G1 Climax tournament.
