AEW star Skye Blue has revealed that she isn’t medically cleared for her return and provided an update on her injury.
Blue suffered an ankle injury on the July 20, 2024, episode of AEW Collision with it recently being reported that she was ‘close’ to returning.
The AEW star has now provided an update on her injury confirming she hasn’t been cleared to return to the ring.
Speaking during a Highspots virtual signing, Blue confirmed that she isn’t cleared and indicated that her ankle is still problematic, stating:
“I am not cleared. My ankle is really f**ked up.”
The AEW star underwent surgery on her broken ankle back in July 2024.
Addressing when she might to be cleared to return to an AEW ring, Blue set out of hopes, saying:
“Hopefully sooner rather than later.”
Although not cleared to compete, Blue appeared during AEW All Out Zero Hour on September 6, 2024, where she was attacked by Mariah May.
