AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher has addressed tensions between him and his teammate in the Don Callis Family.
Kyle Fletcher recently suffered his first pinfall loss of 2026, coming up short while teaming with Kazuchika Okada against Bandido & Brody King on the July 22 Dynamite episode.
Fletcher was pinned shortly after some miscommunication with his tag-team partner, with Okada accidentally taking him out with his Rainmaker clothesline.
With Fletcher having to be held back from Okada after the match, the AEW International Champion has now addressed tensions between himself and the fellow Don Callis Family member.
When asked about their partnership during the AEW Redemption post-show media scrum, Fletcher stated that while be believes some hard discussions need to be had, he believes they’re strong enough to work through their differences.
Kyle Fletcher stated:
“I think there is probably going to be some tension after someone Rainmakers you in the face, when they definitely should not have been doing so. I think we will see how things play out.
“There will probably have to be some hard sit-downs and some hard discussions before the next time we have to team up together, but I think we’re strong enough to get through these differences, I would like to say. We will see what unfolds.”

AEW Redemption saw Fletcher return to his winning ways, successfully defending his International Title against Bandido.
This marked Fletcher’s second defense of the gold since defeating Konosuke Takeshita for the title on the July 8 Dynamite: Beach Break special.
If tensions do get out of hand, we could soon see Fletcher defend the title against Kazuchika Okada, in a match which currently seems almost inevitable.
