AEW Management Fires Back At Complaint About PPV Price

AEW Management Fires Back At Complaint About PPV Price AEW

Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks has slammed criticism of an upcoming match on AEW Full Gear built around ‘friendly competition’.

AEW Full Gear takes place on November 18 and will see the Golden Jets (Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega) taking on the Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson).

Omega and the Bucks, as The Elite, have been two-time AEW World Trios Champions, however, Omega has been teaming with Jericho of late.

In a November 10 post on the AEW Instagram account, the stakes for the match were laid out as:

“The Young Bucks (@mattjackson13 & @nickjacksonyb) put their #AEW World Tag Team Title Number One Contender status on the line when they face @KennyOmegaManX & @ChrisJerichoFozzy!

“If they win, the Golden Jets will never be allowed to team up again!”

Nick Jackson would share the match graphic to his own Instagram on November 13, writing:

“A friendly competition with Kenny. No breakups. Just good wrestling. But Jericho…”

This would lead to a follower of Jackson criticizing the build to the match, posting:

“Nick um, a friendly contest doesn’t normally drive someone to spend 50$ on a PPV.”

Jackson, who is an AEW Executive Vice President and thus a member of the management team, would take the time to offer a little insight into the booking of the upcoming PPV, replying:

“Not being on the show was the other option.”

The follower would concede that the upcoming tag match “will be an amazing match no doubt.”

Another reply would see questions over why Kota Ibushi, who tagged with Omega as The Golden Lovers, wasn’t being used for the Los Angeles PPV.
