AEW Star Max Caster Angers Fans With Controversial Comments

AEW Star Max Caster Angers Fans With Controversial Comments AEW

Max Caster of The Acclaimed made his thoughts felt on a potential AEW signing and fans were definitely not happy.

It all started with Caster reacting to the news that former WWE star Shelton Benjamin had engaged in conversations with AEW.

In response to the news, Caster shared his thoughts on Twitter, seemingly jokingly posting:

“We don’t want him!”

Despite it seemingly being a joke, it still didn’t go down well with a number of followers and fans, with one in particular noting:

“Yes the expletive we do.”

Caster would react to this tweet through a quote tweet, stating:

“How about you curse at me like a real man, jerk? Or are you still celebrating #InternationalWomensDay ??”

It was enough to see a petition set up demanding that “Max Caster shut the f**k up”, with Caster taking note and replying:

“Wtf!”

Elsewhere in the replies, Caster’s rapping abilities, faction and ability would all be called into question, though he wouldn’t back down.

When a fan asked what was happening with Caster and why “the IWC (Internet Wrestling Community) was unhinged right now?”, Caster would react by saying:

“Haven’t seen any hate! Everyone loves the Acclaimed!”

Caster is a current AEW Trios Champion along with The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn.

He was similarly rather salty (again, seemingly not being serious and just looking to rile people up) about Sting ahead of his retirement match at AEW Revolution, sending a “good riddance” tweet into the world on February 29, 2024.
