MJF has given his opinion of “f**king indie fed” NJPW and revealed what he intends to do at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
With AEW Double or Nothing now in the history books, June 25 brings us the second AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door crossover show.
During the AEW Double or Nothing post-show press conference, MJF was asked about the upcoming show, saying:
“Do I have to wrestle at Forbidden Door? F**k that. Oh God, it’s a f**king indie fed, dude.
“I don’t know, man. Jesus Christ. Look, with all due respect, their greatest legend probably couldn’t lace my boots.
“I think I would make anybody on that roster look silly, and I don’t want to waste my time. I’m a very busy man.”
His criticism didn’t stop there, however, with the AEW World Champion going on to say:
“I think New Japan Pro Wrestling sucks. Except that Great-O-Khan guy, he f*cking pops me. I like him.
“But everyone else there is the drizzling s**ts. I don’t know. It reminds me of just like a local indie fed.”
Great-O-Khan has previously discussed AEW describing it as a company of “indie wrestlers” who were “unrefined and ill-educated”.
He would however also say that MJF is one of the “precious few” who understand the art of being a professional wrestler.
