AEW Pulls FTR Vs. Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson From Dynamite?

AEW Pulls FTR Vs. Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson From Dynamite?

It’s Wednesday and you know what that means, AEW Dynamite is live on TBS!

Announced on AEW’s Twitter, the match card for the show is stacked but with one notable omission: no mention of the previously announced FTR versus Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson match.

While it is possible the match is still planned, it may have also needed to be cut to make way for a segment featuring the returning Jon Moxley as was announced yesterday (January 18.)

With such a massive card and only a two-hour show, it is inevitable that something may have to make room as the rest of Dynamite sees the return of Cody Rhodes and a variety of big matches.

A hotly anticipated mixed tag-team match between Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander taking on AEW power couple Adam Cole and Britt Baker as well as CM Punk in action against Shawn Spears (with no doubt some kind of appearance by MJF) and Sting and Darby Allin taking on The Acclaimed, Serena Deeb versus Skye Blue and House of Black versus the Varsity Blonds.

Update: According to Dave Meltzer, the match was canceled due to “medical protocols” however no further specifics are available at this time other than the hope is for the match to be rescheduled sometime soon.
