Sammy Guevara has addressed the fact that he wasn’t in action at AEW All In London, vowing to make it onto next year’s show.
With over 80,000 fans in Wembley Stadium on August 27, All In London 2023 was one of the biggest pro-wrestling shows of all time.
After the main event, MJF, Adam Cole and Tony Khan confirmed that AEW will return to Wembley Stadium next year for another All In event, on August 25, 2024.
One star already pushing to be on that card is Sammy Guevara, who accompanied Chris Jericho to the ring for his match against Will Ospreay, but didn’t actually compete at All In London 2023.
In Guevara’s latest vlog, the former TNT Champion noted that he plans to work so hard that AEW has no choice but to put him on next year’s card.
Guevara said:
“It’s wild seeing all those people in the crowd. I was only ringside, in Chris’ corner, but just to experience 81,000 people was pretty sick.
“Chris had fireworks going off in his entrance, and they were going off above us, and he’s singing his way to the ring. I just look around, I’m like, ‘Woah, this is f**king nuts. This is crazy.
“I saw people disappointed I wasn’t wrestling this year, and it just is what it was. You can’t change what you can’t change. But what you can do is f**king work hard, bust your ass, and make sure that next year, they have no choice but to put me on the card.
“So that’s exactly what we’re gonna do. Appreciate all the love and support. I feel like I could just be content with not wrestling and be happy with that and just collect checks, but that is not me.
“I want to make sure I show the world who the f**k I am, and come next year, we’re gonna make sure. We’re gonna make sure.”
AEW World Champion MJF wrestled not just once, but twice on Sunday, winning the ROH Tag Team Title alongside Adam Cole, before defending his world title against Cole.
MJF has now shared an ‘important’ message following AEW All In London 2023, which you can read more about right here.
