AEW Referenced In Latest WWE Undertaker Documentary Chapter

As well as the Backlash pay-per-view event, tomorrow night on the WWE Network we will be able to watch the fourth chapter in the truly fantastic Undertaker Last Ride documentary series.

For the first time ever, the series has given us an insight into the mind of Mark Calaway, and details the struggles that Mark has to face with regards to stepping away from the ring and retiring.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, who was lucky enough to get the chance to watch the show ahead of its release tomorrow, the fourth chapter features references to the Starrcast II convention and All Elite Wrestling.

In case you don’t know, Undertaker was set to appear at the Starrcast II convention over All Out weekend last year, and here’s what Sean had to say on the matter:

It’s worth nothing that All Elite Wrestling and Starrcast are both referenced at the beginning of the next episode of Undertaker: Last Ride. The episode is fantastic per usual, but Undertaker accepting the booking and the strain it put on his relationship with Vince McMahon are both tackled in the show, which releases Sunday. We’ll have more notes today.

Fightful Select is also reporting that the following topics are going to be discussed in the next final two chapters of the Last Ride documentary series;

“WWE was nice enough to give us an advance look at this week’s Undertaker: The Last Ride. This week’s covers the Crown Jewel aftermath, Starrcast II him not being booked for WrestleMania in 2019, the Goldberg match, and his triumphant tag team match that followed. Next weeks’ will look at the AJ Styles match for this year’s WrestleMania.”

If you haven’t had the chance to watch the awesome Undertaker documentary series, I strongly urge you to do so. It is one of the best documentaries that WWE has ever done, and is well worth your time.
