All Elite Wrestling (AEW) put on a truly fantastic tribute show for Brodie Lee (real name Jon Huber) this week on Dynamite. For those that don’t know, Huber sadly passed away last weekend at the age of just 41.
However, the tributes didn’t stop the show had finished, as AEW has released footage from after the broadcast of Dynamite went off the air featuring The Huber family, Tony Khan, Cody Rhodes and Dark Order’s 10.
The footage shows Brodie Lee Jr. embracing Tony Khan, his mother Amanda, and Cody Rhodes after the show went off the air. Tony Khan also thanked the crowd and called for applause for Jon’s wife and children.
As we have said since the show on Wednesday, AEW really went above and beyond to honour Brodie Lee on Dynamite this week. As much as I wish I never had to watch the show, AEW did a fantastic job given the situation.
Everyone here at WrestleTalk would like to continue to send its condolences to the friends, family, and fans of Brodie Lee (Jon Huber) during this incredibly tough time.
