Shawn Spears has now teased his return ahead of Wednesday’s (April 12) AEW Dynamite after six months away from an AEW ring.
Spears last wrestled for AEW during the October 13, 2022 Rampage taping, teaming with FTR to face off against Bishop Kaun & Brian Cage & Toa Liona in his first match since May 2022.
With Spears returning to the ring last month at the WrestleProFest show, it has been heavily speculated that we will soon see Spears in an AEW ring again.
The Chairman has now hinted that he could be returning to AEW TV soon, following a segment from last week’s edition of Dynamite.
On the April 5 show, Ricky Starks was attacked by Juice Robinson and former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White, who has since signed with the company.
Starks has now shared a photo from this segment to Twitter. Spears replied to this, asking:
Need some help good lookin? 😏🙌🏻
Spears recently teased a WWE return too, hinting at the return of Tye Dillinger.
