AEW’s Rey Fenix has confirmed that he is leaving the Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide in a social media post.
The Death Triangle member made the announcement on his own Instagram account.
The announcement was accompanied by the text:
“Gracias a toda la afición @luchalibreaaa esto no es un adiós, si no hasta pronto.”
This roughly translates to:
“Thanks to all the fans @luchalibreaaa this is not goodbye, but see you soon.”
In Lucha Libre AAA, Fenix is the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion and Latin American Champion.
He has also held the AAA Mega Championship, AAA Fusion Championship and has been a World Tag Team Champion with Pentagon Jr.
