The Brochachos storyline remains a viewership winner for AEW and if you look carefully, you’ll find the story still playing out on Twitter.
Keeping the storyline moving on Twitter this Thursday, first Roderick Strong took to the app to share a solitary word for his emotions.
Tweeting simply: “Heartbroken” along with #AEW, it was also accompanied by a photo of himself hugging Matt Taven and Mike Bennett.
However, his post got a reply from the subject of the star’s sadness, Adam Cole, who responded:
“Call me back please.”
Meanwhile, MJF possibly weighed in later in the evening, with the AEW World Heavyweight Champion tweeting simply:
“Shake it off.”
While the MJF tweet could be totally unrelated, it’s a delightfully shady detail regardless.
With attention to detail that AEW has been well regarded for in past stories, The Brochachos storyline has continued to play out on AEW Dynamite, Rampage and Collision, and is soon set for the biggest AEW stage ever.
While AEW is poised to put on the ‘biggest professional wrestling event in history’ at AEW All In in London’s Wembley Stadium, the event could potentially feature two appearances by MJF and Adam Cole.
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole convinced MJF to team with him to challenge for the ROH Tag Team Championship at AEW All In, challenging Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher).
This was potentially the ‘heartbreak’ that Strong alluded to after he protested Cole making the challenge teaming with him, and not MJF. MJF then delivered a scathing promo that prompted Strong to embrace the Kingdom before storming off.
