Popular AEW star and one third of the AEW World Trios Champion Anthony Bowens has reflected on growing up following his first action figure.
For many pro wrestlers, this is a dream that has stayed with them since their formative years.
One such wrestler is The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens, who has always been public about his fandom for the sport during his youth.
On February 2, Bowens took to social media to share a photo of his new action figure and his old Rocky Maivia action figure. Sharing a story about playing with the toy when he was young, Bowens said:
When I was a kid, I use to pretend this Rocky Maivia action figure was me. It was the only figure that I thought looked like me. Now I don’t have to pretend anymore.
THANK YOU to every single person who has purchased the brand new Acclaimed 3-pack. Seeing people unboxing these is a dream come true.
Anthony Bowens is currently one third of the AEW World Trios Champions with Max Caster and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn. The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass recently aligned with Bullet Club Gold to form the Bang Bang Scissor Gang on AEW TV.
