An AEW star has sent a request to rock band Blink 182 to use one of their songs as their new entrance music.
Taking to Twitter, AEW’s Billie Starkz tagged the group in a post asking to use their 1999 song ‘Aliens Exist’ as her new theme, as well as an additional request.
Starkz tweeted:
Dear @blink182.
Please give me permission to use Aliens Exist for my entrance music everywhere.
Also, would be really cool if you could do it live some time for me
Thanks.
While it’s unclear whether Starkz will get a response from the multi-platinum selling band, Tony Khan has been known to pay out for certain songs to be used as themes for many of his wrestlers.
Most notable examples of this have been Europe’s ‘Final Countdown’ for Bryan Danielson, Pantera’s ‘Walk’ for Rob Van Dam and 50 Cent’s ‘Many Men (Wish Death)’ for The Gunns among others.
Starkz has spent much of her time in AEW thus far on the ROH brand where she serves as the minion for ROH Women’s World Champion Athena.
