Then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of last week’s (May 16) episode of Raw has been the hot topic in the world of wrestling these past two weeks.
Fans have speculated about what is next for the pair, with many wondering if their days in WWE are done.
One name hoping to step in the ring with Sasha Banks is former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, who recently spoke to Forbes ahead of Double or Nothing, where she commented on a potential match with Sasha.
She said:
“Since it’s a pretty hot topic right now, I’m going to say Sasha Banks.…I think she is one of the top draws in all of WWE. She’s such a superstar, she’s such a good wrestler. She’s definitely somebody that I would love to wrestle,”
Britt Baker is set to face off against Toni Storm in a semi-final match of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Former WWE announcer Renee Paquette recently spoke about the potential of Banks wrestling outside of WWE, and why it might end up happening.
