An AEW star has said that they “can’t talk” about their current status with the company amid their absence from TV.
Previously a consistent presence on AEW Dark and Dark Elevation, Ryan Nemeth has become far less used since both shows came to an end in the Spring of 2023.
While Nemeth has made sporadic appearances since then, the last four months have been particularly quiet, with Nemeth’s last AEW appearances coming on November 4.
During a recent interview with Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Nemeth was asked about his status in AEW, to which he said that he’s “very proud” of his time in the company, yet couldn’t comment any further.
Nemeth said:
“I will very diplomatically tell you that is a topic I just can’t talk about at the moment.”
“Everything I’ve ever done with AEW, I’ve been very proud of and I appreciate every single match I’ve had there and all the friends I’ve made and it was a great experience. TBD.”
In his absence from AEW TV, Ryan Nemeth has been occasionally spotted alongside his brother Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) as he enjoys his free agency following his WWE release in September 2023.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Ryan Nemeth’s AEW future as/when they become available.
