WWE Hall of Famer Sting has found himself having a career resurgence in AEW since his arrival at Winter Is Coming in 2020.
Sting has wrestled very few singles matches during his AEW run, spending most of his time teaming with Darby Allin.
Sting had retired from wrestling back in 2015 after an injury he suffered in a WWE Championship match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions, but has returned to the ring in AEW.
Despite still moving like he did in his prime, naturally fans have begun speculating about when the 63-year old icon will call it a day for a second time.
Sting recently spoke to The Ringer, where he discussed his eventual endgame.
Sting said that he has an idea about what the end of his career will look like, and it involved Darby Allin.
He said:
“Well, I know Darby is going to be a part of it for sure. I won’t have a singles match at this point.
“Darby will be along with me and I’ll be along with him and we can add more to it as far as I’m concerned.
“But I have a few people [in mind] and I really don’t want to say now.”
Sting’s most recent match took place at AEW Full Gear, where he and Darby defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a No Disqualification tag team bout.
