An AEW star has shown off images of a brutal injury sustained during a match on the January 3 edition of Dynamite.
Taking to Instagram, The Machine Brian Cage revealed that he suffered what he referred to as a “boo boo” during his four-way match with Brian Keith, Trent Beretta and El Hilo Del Vikingo.
In the post (see below), Cage showed off several pictures of some nasty looking bruising in his tricep and lat area on his left side, as well as a clip of when the injury presumably occurred in the match.
Cage said:
Welllllll, I may or may not have gotten a “boo boo” last Wednesday night on Dynamite…..but I’m not a man, I’m a machine! And the show must go on.

While there’s no official word on Cage’s injury diagnosis, Cage provided some context of sorts which seems to suggest that it’s not too severe.
Adding in the comments section of the post Cage said he’s “not planning to miss anything”, suggesting that it may not be as serious as the bruises suggest.
We’d like to extend our well-wishes to Cage in his recovery.
